This document sets out the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the website operated by Golden Hook Ltd., as well as the conditions applicable to its users. The processing of users' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of the information. Users access and use the website entirely at their own risk and acknowledge that the Service Provider shall not be liable for any material or non-material damages arising from the use of the website, except for damages resulting from intentional or negligent breach of contract causing injury to life, physical integrity, or health.

The Service Provider excludes all liability for the conduct of users of the website. Users are solely and exclusively responsible for their own conduct. In such cases, the Service Provider will cooperate with the competent authorities where required.

The Service Provider reserves the right to review content made available by users on the website but is under no obligation to monitor the website for unlawful activity. If a user identifies any objectionable or unlawful content on the website, they are required to notify the Service Provider. If, following a good faith review, the Service Provider finds the complaint to be justified, it reserves the right to remove or modify the relevant content.

This website is protected by copyright. All content displayed on the website—including images, audio, text, graphic elements, and technical solutions—is protected by copyright law. Copying or reproducing such content without authorization constitutes copyright infringement. Any use beyond personal use is permitted only with the prior written consent of the Service Provider. The Service Provider reserves all rights relating to every element of its services, software, domain name, subdomains, and advertising spaces. Any activity aimed at extracting, archiving, hacking, reverse engineering, or otherwise exploiting the Service Provider's database or source code is strictly prohibited.

Visitors are hereby informed that the lake premises are monitored by a video surveillance system.

By making a purchase or reservation and accepting these Terms and Conditions, visitors acknowledge and consent to the possibility that video recordings may be made of them.

Reservations must be made for a minimum period of three (3) days and apply to one specific fishing swim.

The local tourist tax must always be paid on-site in cash.

DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE

By booking and paying for a fishing swim, I declare that I have read, understood, and accepted the Fishing Regulations and Code of Ethics of Somlóhegyi Fishing Lake, and I consider them binding upon myself.

I undertake to inform all persons accompanying me about these regulations and accept full responsibility for their conduct.

I acknowledge that in the event of any breach of the regulations, the operator is entitled to terminate my fishing session immediately, require me to leave the premises, and, in serious cases, permanently exclude me from the lake without any refund.

By accepting these regulations, I expressly accept all legal consequences and sanctions arising from them.

1. Online Reservation

1.1. Description of the Service

Through our website, Golden Hook Ltd. provides the opportunity to book camping and fishing swims online at its fishing lake.

1.2. Booking Process

Reservations require registration. Therefore, before making a reservation, please log in or create a user account.

Click on the Reservation menu and select the designated fishing swim where you would like to stay.

After selecting your preferred swim, choose the start and end dates of your reservation. The minimum reservation period at our lake is 3 days.

Please provide the names and fishing license numbers of all anglers who will be fishing during the reservation period. A maximum of 2 anglers may fish from one swim.

After entering the required information, the system will redirect you to the secure online credit card payment page.

2.2. Payment Methods

Our website accepts credit/debit card payments only.

2.2.1. Credit Card Payment

Golden Hook Ltd. uses the Barion payment system. Online credit card payments are processed securely through the Barion platform. Your credit card details are never shared with the merchant.

The payment service is provided by Barion Payment Ltd., an electronic money institution supervised by the National Bank of Hungary under license number H-EN-I-1064/2013.

When entering your credit card details on the payment page, please note the following:

Card Type:

Select your card type from the drop-down menu.

Issuing Bank:

Enter the name of the bank that issued your card exactly as it appears on the card.

Cardholder Name:

Enter the name of the cardholder exactly as it appears on the card.

Card Number:

Enter the 16-digit card number without spaces or hyphens. If you are using an OTP Maestro card with a 10-digit card number, please enter the prefix 675761 before the digits printed on your card.

Please note: The card number is not the same as your bank account number.

Expiry Date:

Enter the expiry date shown on your card in MM/YY format (e.g. 10/09 = October 2009).

Security Code (CVC2/CVV2):

Embossed cards (Visa Classic, MasterCard) always have a security code. Other card types may also include one. This is the last three digits printed near the signature panel on the back of the card. If your card has a CVC2/CVV2 code, please enter it during payment.

The payment service provider automatically confirms the transaction to the booking system within approximately 5–10 seconds. Please do not close your browser or interrupt the payment process.

A confirmation email containing the details of your reservation will be sent to the email address you provided during the booking process.

Please note that all online card payments are processed in Hungarian Forint (HUF), regardless of the currency of your payment card.

Any EUR prices displayed on the website are for informational purposes only and are based on the current exchange rate. The amount appearing on your bank statement in your account's currency may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations and the currency conversion applied by your card issuer and the card network.

3. Right of Withdrawal

The purchase process may be cancelled at any time without consequence before clicking the "Pay" button.

Pursuant to Section 29 (1) (l) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Customer is not entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal or termination if the reservation is made for a specific date or period.

In such cases, the Service Provider is unable to cancel the reservation or refund the purchase price, except where the fishing lake must be closed due to unavoidable circumstances.

By entering the required information and submitting your credit card details on the payment page, which are successfully authorized by your bank, you complete the purchase of your reservation.

Accordingly, reservations made for a specific date cannot be modified, cancelled, or withdrawn.

However, Golden Hook Ltd. provides the following cancellation policy:

Reservations may be cancelled within 7 calendar days after the booking has been completed, provided that the arrival date is more than 7 days away.

If the reservation starts within the next 7 days, cancellation is no longer possible. In this case, the reservation fee will not be refunded; however, the full amount may be used toward another reservation at a later date.

The cancelled reservation amount will be credited to the user's account balance within their customer profile. This credit may be used during the same calendar year.

Reservations can be cancelled through the My Reservations section of the website by clicking the Cancel Reservation button, provided that the arrival date is not within the next 7 days.

When a reservation is cancelled in accordance with these Terms, the amount paid will not be refunded to the original payment method. Instead, it will be credited to the user's online account balance.

Credits resulting from cancelled reservations remain in the user's account and may be applied toward future bookings. During checkout, account credit may be used up to the point where the remaining amount payable is at least HUF 100.

4. Order Confirmation

After a successful purchase, our system automatically sends a confirmation email.

If you cannot find the confirmation in your inbox, please check your Spam or Junk Mail folder.

If you have not received the confirmation email within one hour, please do not submit another reservation. Instead, contact our Customer Service team, and we will resend the confirmation upon request.

The successful completion of your purchase does not depend on receiving the confirmation email. In some cases, communication errors may prevent delivery of the confirmation message.

If this occurs, please contact Customer Service.

Regardless of the email confirmation, your successful reservations will always be visible in your personal user account after logging in.

5. Payment Errors

If an error occurs during the payment process, please contact our Customer Service.

Do not attempt to submit the payment again.

6. Invoices for Credit Card Payments

An invoice for every completed reservation is automatically issued in the name provided in the purchaser's account details.

The invoice will be sent by email and will also be available in the user's online account.

7. Dispute Resolution and Conciliation Bodies

European Online Dispute Resolution Platform (ODR):

Submitting a complaint through the Online Dispute Resolution platform is free of charge. However, the dispute resolution procedure is governed by the procedural rules and applicable costs of the Member State where the proceedings take place. Users are therefore advised to familiarize themselves with the applicable fees before initiating the procedure.

In most cases, online dispute resolution is conducted electronically and does not require the physical presence of the parties.

Where both the consumer and the trader are established in the same country, the relevant dispute resolution body is not obliged to handle the dispute.

International disputes involving Hungarian consumers purchasing from foreign online stores, as well as disputes involving foreign consumers purchasing from Hungarian online stores, may also be handled by the Budapest Conciliation Board.

The Budapest Conciliation Board serves as an alternative dispute resolution body assisting consumers and businesses in settling consumer disputes outside the courts.

Its primary objective is to facilitate an amicable settlement between the parties. If no settlement can be reached, the Board may issue a decision in the form of either a recommendation or, where legally applicable, a binding decision if the consumer's claim is well-founded. If the claim is found to be unfounded, it will be dismissed.

Conciliation proceedings are free of charge, fast, and easy to use.
